Our Vineyards
In addition to working with our family's own vineyards, we work with vineyards and farmers throughout Napa Valley that share our same family and generational values. We respect the soil, and view ourselves as stewards of the earth. We honor generational knowledge, and revere winegrowing and winemaking as ever-learning crafts. We tend to favor the cooler, southern sub-appellations of Napa Valley, such as Yountville, Oak Knoll District, Coombsville and Chiles Valley. Over the decades, we've found that we can ripen the grapes beautifully in these regions, while still maintaining wonderfully balanced acidity and resolved tannins
KNOLLWOOD VINEYARD | OAK KNOLL DISTRICT | Est 1985 | Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon
Our dad, Jay Corley, planted the Knollwood Vineyard in 1985. Over the last forty years, our family has grown a wide range of grape varieties on the Knollwood property. The soils in this region are heavy, fine-textured alluvial clays, silt loam and loam. They drain reasonably well. We grow several different clones of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, all of which contribute nuanced differences to both the single varietal wines, and blended wines, bottled from this site.
STATE LANE VINEYARD | YOUNTVILLE | Est 1989 | Cabernet Sauvignon
Our family purchased this site from Beringer in the late 1980s, planted it to Cabernet Sauvignon. The current vines were planted in 2000. Planted to Clone 337, the berries are very small, producing highly concentrated wines, inky deep in color, big-bodied wines with robust mouthfeel. I've worked with this vineyard for nearly forty years, and have always thought of it as a 'mountain vineyard on the valley floor'.
WILKINSON'S WINEYARD | YOUNTVILLE | Est 1968 | Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon
Founder Rollin Wilkinson is a quiet legend of Napa Valley winegrowing. He studied at UC Davis under Harold Olmo, a long career with The Christian Brothers where he became a recognized authority on vineyard disease recognition, weather prediction, and crop projection, Napa Valley Grapegrowers leadership and UC Davis Extension teaching, and his own vineyard on State Lane planted in 1968 and farmed until his passing in June 2026. We're honored to be working with his next generation, as they share the same multi-generational outlook and enthusiasm as we do for winegrowing and winemaking traditions.
SUNSERI VINEYARD | CHILES VALLEY | Est 1885 | Zinfandel, Syrah
Anton Nichelini homesteaded this ranch in 1885. We're honored to be working with his descendants and generational winegrower, Phil Sunseri. Phil is a terrific grower, salt of the earth farmer. Chiles Valley produces magnificently balanced, spicy Zinfandel and Syrah. Phil and his family have been farming these vineyards for nearly 140 years, and we're honored to be working with them.
CARASKA VINEYARD | OAK KNOLL DISTRICT | Est 1999 | Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel
We worked with David Caraska with this vineyard on Big Ranch Road for many years. After David's passing, we've continued to work with his widow, Joan. This is a small, high quality vineyard producing nicely balanced, refined Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel each year, These varietals thrive in this cooler region. Nice dark fruit, great midpalate and beautifully balanced acidity leading into a long finish.
SALTIEL VINEYARD | OAK KNOLL DISTRICT | Est 2022 | Cabernet Sauvignon
This meticulously farmed vineyard is recently replanted, and we're so excited to be working with one of our favorite Cabernet Sauvignon selections, See Clone. We farmed See Clone Cabernet Sauvignon on Spring Mountain for years, and are thrilled to be working with it again on the southern valley floor now. These wines will show wonderful depth on the palate, rich texture, deep berry flavor and fine tannins.
